A correction to the above is that we do have a bank account but as we tried to make clear in the interview for the article, without a signed lease and confirmed entry date as an indication to the bank of when we would begin operating from the library premises, we cannot activate the account. Also, the company registration was confirmed to the council as having been amended to their very particular requirements (four company directors rather than three) on 5 January. They confirmed receipt of this information, albeit unintentionally, in an email sent to us about another matter on Monday 20 February. The ‘oops’ doesn’t end there: the draft lease requires the first quarter of rental payments to be made on 28 February – the date the library closed.
